Trametes Versicolor is mainly a wild-grown fungus growing on stumps, fallen trees and branches of a variety of broadleaf trees. It is found in forests all over the world.
Trametes Versicolor is generally grown in dark and humid places, with a relative humidity of about 85 – 90%. Due to the strong adaptability of mycelium, it can grow at 3 – 31 °C, while 25 – 28 °C is optimal, and fruiting bodies are most suitable for growth at 25 – 30 °C.
In an environment with a large temperature difference, it can accelerate the growth of the fruiting body. In addition, in a well-ventilated area, the mycelium can grow rapidly and the fruiting body can grow more robustly. Turkey tail prefers to grow in a more acidic environment, about PH4-5.6.
It can be harvested all year round, impu rities removed and dried.
