We sincerely invite you to join Chong Kio’s “The Table We Set” cooking workshop. Held at Hong Kong landmark Gentry Club, K11 MUSEA, this workshop offers a chance to learn traditional tonic and home-style dishes from celebrity chefs, giving you an in-depth experience of Hong Kong and Macau’s unique TCM food therapy culture.

Each dish is created with intention, to restore energy, support vitality, or simply say “I love you” in a way that lingers.From choosing your ingredients to plating with care, every moment becomes an act of love that you create with your own hands.

In this workshop, you will experience :

 

  1. A guided masterclass led by our chef, using premium TCM ingredients like Sea Cucumber, Abalone, Fish Maw, Bird’s Nest;
  2. Learn about wellness tips and practical knowledge for the current solar terms;
  3. Receive wellness consultations from wellness professional;
  4. The stories and meaning behind every herb and recipe;
  5. A dish prepared by you, served with love and pride;
  6. A keepsake recipe card, your personal creation, and a heart full of warmth to take home.

Chef|Marissa Lau @MM Kitchen · Operates a popular private dining and catering service. · Collaborates with leading 5-star hotels and brands on pop-up events. · Skilled in transforming the freshest, highest-quality ingredients into popular traditional Chinese dishes by infusing them with unique creativity.
Marissa Lau began her private chef journey through her Instagram page “MM Kitchen,” where she shares her original creations and personal culinary insights.

Over the years, she has collaborated with Rosewood Hotel, Carlyle & Co., and Soho House on a series of pop-up dining experiences, hosted appliance demonstration lunches with Bosch Hong Kong, and led interactive cooking classes that bring people together through food.
Dedicated and passionate, Marissa delights in curating private dining experiences. She personally selects the freshest ingredients and transforms them into thoughtful, flavorful dishes that reflect her respect for quality, creativity, and the joy of sharing meals that nourish both body and heart.
