Product Knowledge

Trametes Versicolor, a sizable and highly prized medicinal fungus, is rich in proteins, fats, polysaccharides, polysaccharide-peptides, various amino acids, and trace elements. Known for its anti-cancer compound widely used in cancer treatments, Trametes Versicolor offers diverse medicinal properties beyond its anti-cancer effects. It is effective in eliminating dampness, expelling phlegm, and treating lung ailments, showcasing therapeutic benefits for conditions like chronic bronchitis and persistent hepatitis.

Boosts Immunity
The extracts of Trametes Versicolor contain an active compound called polysaccharides. These polysaccharides can significantly enhance the patient’s cellular immune function and humoral immune function. Also, it can increase the body’s tolerance and resistance to chemotherapy treatment and help reduce the incidence of infections and bleeding in patients.
Anti-cancer Effect
The proteoglycans known as “PSK” derived from Trametes Versicolor have the capability to boost the body’s specific immune response against tumors, leading to anti-cancer effects.
Liver Protection Effect
The extracts of Trametes Versicolor contain polysaccharides, an active compound that has demonstrated the ability to effectively lower serum transaminase levels. The
Origins

Originating from the primeval forests of China and Vietnam, Trametes Versicolor is distributed in the southeast and west of the country, and is parasitic on broad-leaved trees and rotten trees above 3,000 meters above sea level.

Habitat

Trametes Versicolor is mainly a wild-grown fungus growing on stumps, fallen trees and branches of a variety of broadleaf trees. It is found in forests all over the world.

Trametes Versicolor is generally grown in dark and humid places, with a relative humidity of about 85 – 90%. Due to the strong adaptability of mycelium, it can grow at 3 – 31 °C, while 25 – 28 °C is optimal, and fruiting bodies are most suitable for growth at 25 – 30 °C.

In an environment with a large temperature difference, it can accelerate the growth of the fruiting body. In addition, in a well-ventilated area, the mycelium can grow rapidly and the fruiting body can grow more robustly. Turkey tail prefers to grow in a more acidic environment, about PH4-5.6.

Craftsmanship

It can be harvested all year round, impu rities removed and dried.
